New this week: Hope Chest and Simpatico!

We have two very beautiful, very different new fabric collections in the shop this week and I’m terribly excited about them both: Simpatico from Cloud9 and Hope Chest from Blend.

Simpatico is designed by Cloud9 Co-Founder Michelle Engel Benksco. The word means ‘likeable and easy to get along with’ which is the perfect name for this collection of deliciously simple, modern designs in easy pastels. How relaxing would a quilt be in this fabric? How sweet and fresh would a little girl’s dress look? The entire collection can be found here and our build a bundle is here.

Hope Chest from Blend Fabrics is full of pretty floral motifs, contemporary stripes and  a lovely cross-stitch print! By Seattle-based surface pattern designer Josephine Kimberling, this collection adds a dash of modern style to an old-fashioned theme. We’ve hand-picked our favourites to create a lovely set that is a touch romantic, a bit nostalgic and entirely perfect for quilts, home dec and pretty garments and accessories. You can shop our selection here and build a bundle here.

Here is a close up of that gorgeous cross-stitch design. We’ll be putting together a kit for this soon!
