A close up on our Christmas Party vignette!

It’s getting closer folks! We are into December and Christmas party season is here! Exciting times! We had lots of fun putting this vignette together in store and it really makes me smile every time I see it. The red, mint and pink colour schemes has worked better that we had imagined. We really hope you’ll pop in to our London shop see it in person!

The star of the party is most certainly our Rag rug wreath centre piece. The lovely Elspeth from Ragged Life made this masterpiece especially for us. Isn’t it amazing?! She used a selection of our Christmas Fabrics and fabrics from her stash to make it and the combination is just stunning!

I just love how the more you look at it the more colour you see. These flowers are just perfect!

A big thank you to Bobby Fitzpatrick for letting us shoot photos of our garments in their awesome retro cocktail bar. Isn’t this backdrop perfect? Our lady is all dressed up and ready to rock around the Christmas tree in her christmas party dress!

This is the Christine Hayes Emery Dress in Christmas Dreams – Trees in Evergreen and was made with the combined stitching power of Alice and I (Kym).

We both had great fun choosing the pink for the massive bow on the front. It is in Kona Cotton Solid – Honeysuckle and also lines the bodice.

We have filled out the gathered skirt with a tulle petticoat. Such a perfect party dress shape!

Our second lady is the Hostess with the Mostess in her Domestic Goddess Christmas Apron.

The fabric is so cute! It is a recipe for Christmas Cookies!

With its vintage-style and totally fabulous bow, it truly is the perfect Christmas apron!

Our Hostess is also wearing her handmade felt ball necklace. Such a nice simple accessory to make while sitting in front of the telly!

She is serving the disco drinks on her decoupaged tray. We have a tutorial for this here (written by Chloe Hardisty from  Cotton Clara) and also our lovely quilted table runner by Caroline here.
