A recap of our Macmillan Coffee Morning!

On the 30 September we participated in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to raise funds for Macmillan at our West Hampstead shop! Our coffee ‘morning’ turned into an all day event as so many people donated lots of amazing cakes!

Maria from Bake with Maria made this amazing Banana Toffee Cake with dark chocolate ganache.

Jenny from The Kitchen Table made her famous Brownies.

This Millionares Shortbread made by the lovely @crafty_alibobs was the bake of the day!

Our friends from M&S downstairs and Gail’s Bakery donated even more cake…

and I (Kym) did a little baking for the event too.

The lovely lovely people over at donated their amazing coffee – it really is the best in NW6!

The winner of our guess the height of the cake competition was Carol! We had some brilliant guesses for this but the correct answer was 94cm!

We raised a massive £183.83 on the day!! A huge thank you to all who donated and ate cake to raise money for this amazing charity!

There are 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer. By 2030, it will be 4 million people. One in three of us will get cancer, and Macmillan’s goal is to make sure no one faces cancer alone. They provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care. Find out more about Macmillan here.

You can still donate by text by texting JAM MFN3 to 70550!

A huge thank you to everyone once again and roll on next year’s event!
