The new Aster sewing pattern from Colette Patterns offers a modern and simplified version on the iconic button-up blouse! The button-up style instantly lends a put-together quality to the blouse, while the v-neckline is universally flattering, and eliminates the fuss of a collar. Bust darts offer soft shaping, giving Aster its flattering body skimming fit.
With three different sleeves and two bodice options, you can mix and match features to create your ideal shirt. This highly customisable pattern is perfect for an advanced beginner or an experienced sewist looking refine their skill set.
Version 1 has short, cuffed sleeves for a casual look. Cotton poplin, cotton lawn, chambray, dotted swiss, shirting and wool shirting are suitable for this version. It is shown here in silk.
