Read on to see the super fun new classes we have organised for our sunny studio over the rest of the year! We love to keep you inspired and are always hunting for new crafts and workshops to keep the buzz alive!

Black girls stitch up! This beginners embroidery workshop created by Shikira Alleyne-Samuel is all about self-care and embracing Afro hair. You'll spend a couple of hours learning simple embroidery stitches and how to appliqué a headwrap. Shikira has designed this sewing circle to encourage women to connect, inspire each other and learn and grow in confidence! The class fee includes everything you need! All are welcome at this workshop regardless of race or gender and discounts are available if you book with a friend!

Make a beautiful rainbow wall hanging! Learn how to work with rope and yarn to create a special piece to decorate your home or give as a gift. You'll love the meditative work of winding the yarn and seeing your rainbow come together! It's so aesthetically pleasing to look at, you'll want to make them over and over again! Great as a gift for a new baby or to decorate your home.

Learn how to screen print and design your own textiles and garments! We'll teach you all the basics to get you printing your own original designs onto a tote bag or t-shirt or you can choose from a selection of Shikira's own designs to print. You'll learn step by step the process of creating a design, cutting your stencil right through to preparing your screen for printing.You'll leave with a complete printed tote or t-shirt and the confidence to create and print on your own again and again at home. Super cool!

Learn to make your own trainers! In this class we'll show you how to work with leather and hand-stitch your own trainers starting with a rubber sole from Sneakerkit.
There are four styles to choose from: super low rise, low rise, high rise or super high rise trainers. Each style is made with two side panels, a back strap and a tongue. We will provide a variety of leather options to choose from to customise your trainers. We will also show you stitching options to personalise them. Think of all the trainers you could have as soon as you've finished this class!

Learn the art of paper cutting! You'll learn how to create intricate designs using just one sheet of paper and how to layer paper to create fun collages. Use this as a chance to create a special Christmas card, greeting card or wall hanging!

Tis' the season to be creative and make your own festive decorations to fill your home with! Bring a couple of friends or family with you to enjoy well-deserved social time and creativity whilst making a Christmas wreath! This is an event which is sure to bring creative, mindful flow, and festive fun.
You will learn how to take beautiful festive foliage, berries and pine cones and arrange them into a gorgeous wreath, fit for any door. We provide all the equipment you need, however, feel free to bring additional cuttings or your favourite decorations to add to your creation.
