By Hand London patterns news
I’m afraid I haven’t given as much attention to By Hand London patterns as I should have on this blog. They are a wonderful London-based (obviously!) startup pattern company and the kind of women I just love to support. When Charlotte hand-delivered my first order of patterns, we sat for an hour trading new business lesson learned. By Hand launched about two months ago with two beautifully packaged, feminine, flirty patterns – the Charlotte Skirt and Elisalex Dress. There was a tiny hiccup with printing, but the patterns are now ready to go and selling like hotcakes.
I recently partnered up with Rachel at House of Pinheiro on a pattern giveaway and although the giveaway just ended, you simply must go over to Rachel’s blog and see her versions. She’s so talented! Here is her Elisalex. She made it with a print from Dear Stella’s Gilt Trip collection – just goes to show dressmaking with quilting cotton can be fabulous!
By Hand are doing a Charlotte Skirt Sewalong beginning 14th January over on their blog. The timing is perfect for whipping up a cute little Valentine’s Day outfit! That’s Charlotte herself modeling some of the many versions of the Charlotte skirt below.
I also just found out we’re going to be listed as the stockist when these lovely patterns are featured in Mollie Makes next month. Yay!
