Craft in pop culture – the Knope/Wyatt Unity Quilt

Don’t you just love it when a bit of craft pops up in a story line on TV? I feel like I see it more and more often. In this week’s Parks and Recreation, Leslie unveils the Knope/Wyatt Unity Quilt at her engagement party in an effort to unite her and her fiancée’s families. She’s made a square for everyone. I’m not sure we’d call it “modern” but I quite like the idea!

Is Parks and Recreation even on here? I am almost never in front of an actual television but I watch a lot of downloaded telly while I work, and most of it is shows from the States. Either way I recommend it – it’s a good laugh!
