Double Gauze Solids from Kobayashi now in stock
At Fall Market, in the Seven Islands booth (read: Japanese fabric booth), all I ordered was dressmaking fabrics. Pretty much same story when I was up at Stitches last week. I’m super into the gorgeous double gauze, adorable knits, striking cotton sateen. I love it. And my taste is getting more exciting with each new order so stay with me. The abstract Nani Iro double gauze neons are coming.
But for now, I give you Double Gauze Solids from Kobayashi. Man I wish I’d ordered more of these. They are so beautiful. These are the kind of fabrics I watch sell, whilst secretly wishing they won’t sell so I can have them for myself. Don’t drink the profits, my wise husband says. Sigh.
Here are four, and I suspect I’m going to bring in more come summer. Because these are just begging to be made into pretty summer dresses and floaty tops – though they will be right at home with nubby tights and knee high boots for the next couple of months too. Have we found the perfect fabric? Perhaps…
