Talk & Pop Up: How Sustainable Fashion Fosters a More Positive Self-Image with Ayesha Mustafa

With each New Year we make resolutions to improve ourselves and focus on creating a well-balanced and fulfilled life. We focus on eating better, getting fit, being more mindful; self-improvement and looking and feeling good are high on everyone’s agenda. But we often miss out on the huge impact being a responsible consumer and choosing our clothing has on our self-image. Ayesha Mustafa, Founder of Fashion ComPassion, will talk about how the slow fashion movement, and being a conscious consumer, helps instil a more positive and real self-image. In exchange for following trends and celebrity styles, we look at how choosing quality over quantity, understanding how your products are made and the environmental impact of apparel makes us more educated and empowered consumers. Wine and nibbles will be served and you’ll have the opportunity to shop Fashion ComPassion’s collection of sustainable fashion accessories. Find out more and sign up here.
