Learn something new! Open classes in West Hampstead the week of 3 March 2014

Want to learn something new this week? These are the West Hampstead sewing classes, knitting classes and craft classes in which you can still snag a last minute spot!

On Saturday we’ll be doing some selfish sewing! Sew a Renfrew Top with Zoe Edwards is back and we’re super excited.

The Sewaholic Renfrew is a perfect women’s basic tee! In this class you’ll learn how to sew with knit fabrics whilst making your own semi-fitted t-shirt using Birch’s new Flight collection. The fabric and pattern are included in the course fee and you’ll be able to choose from four colours for your shirt. With the guidance of experienced teacher Zoe Edwards you’ll leave class with a great new top and the confidence to tackle any knit pattern you’ve been coveting! Sign up here.

Transform your home with a brand new lampshade! Drum lampshades are the classic shape for modern and vintage interiors they can be used to fit a table lamp or a ceiling fitting. In this two-hour class you’ll learn how to cover a lampshade and leave with a finished drum lampshade ready to decorate your home. All materials are included. Sign up here.

Introduction to Colourwork

Fair Isle knitting produces beautiful designs and one of the most fun things you can do in knitting! In this class you’ll learn the technique by knitting a pair of hand warmers or headband under the careful guidance of our experienced instructor. You’ll learn how to read and follow a graph, how to strand and weave yarn and how to knit with multiple colours at once. Sign up here.
