New patterns from By Hand London, Sewaholic and Megan Nielsen

New patterns always seem to come at once! We’re flush once again with gorgeous new designs from some of our favourite pattern companies from around the world, including By Hand London (here at home), Sewaholic (Canada) and Megan Nielsen (Australia)!

First up is the By Hand London Victoria Blazer.

Victoria Blazer by By Hand London

Victoria is a casual blazer featuring 3/4 length sleeves, a turned up French seamed cuff and side seam pockets, with cropped and sleeveless variations. Designed with a generous amount of ease for a laid back style, this blazer is the perfect throw-it-over-everything wardrobe staple.

Next we have Tofino, a pair of fun pyjama bottoms from Sewaholic.

Tofino pants from Sewaholic

Tofino Pants are cosy, casual pyjama pants for lounging at home. They’re more fitted than your typical slouchy PJ pants, but just as comfortable! The rise is cut higher in the back and lower in the front so it’s more comfortable for sitting. The faux-fly detail adds a modern touch, and piping down the sides elongates the leg and adds a bright touch of colour. At the waistline, there’s both elastic in the casing and a fabric tie belt to customise the fit. The pattern includes both full length pants and knee length shorts.

Finally we have three new patterns from Megan Nielsen’s new Breakwater Collection: the Tania Culottes, the Cascade Skirt and the Eucalypt Woven Tank Top and Dress.

Tania Culottes by Megan Nielsen

Ideal for every day wear, the Tania Culottes are a modern take on culottes, combining the practicality of shorts with the cuteness of a circle skirt. The pattern features a fitted waistband, wonderful drape, invisible side seam zipper and hidden centre front and back pleats to create the illusion of a skirt. It comes in short length, and is easily adapted to longer hems.

Cascade Skirt by Megan Nielsen

Cascade is a full wrap skirt with graduated hem and attractive cascades along the hemline. Aimed at a beginner level, this skirt is perfect for every day wear, but also dramatic enough for a special occasion. The pattern includes three different waistband options (button up, front tie and back tie), and instructions for optional lining for sheer fabrics.

 Eucalypt by Megan Nielsen

A stylish wardrobe basic, Eucaplypt is a woven tank top and dress featuring a relaxed fit, scoop neckline and curved hem. It is full of potential and ideal for casual and more formal occasions. The pattern includes centre front seam variation, tank & dress variations as well as instructions for French seams and pattern for bias facing.
