Reminder! World Wide Knit in Public Day is next Saturday
We are so excited that World Wide Knit in Public Day (WWKIPDAY) is next Saturday, 10 June! And we are teaming up with Yarn in the City (the awesome ladies who bring you the Great London Yarn Crawl, among other fabulous events) to host a event on West Hampstead Square from 11am – 2pm.
WWKIPDAY is unique in that it’s the largest knitter run event in the world. Each local event is put together by a volunteer or a group of volunteers. The event has been running every year on the second Saturday in June since 2005. There were 1015 events last year in 57 countries. Wow!
So grab your knitting project (need ideas? We’ve got some here!) and join us on 10 June. We can’t wait to take over West Hampstead Square with you! There will be door prizes, free samples of Soak and cold drinks on hand!
