Two Truths and a Lie with Katarina Roccella – the big reveal!
Yesterday we posted three statements about Katarina Roccella and asked you to guess which one is a lie. Here are the correct answers!
1. I am a classically trained artist
This is true. I graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts, at the Department of Graphic Arts and I obtained my Masters degree eleven years ago. I am now attending the second year of my PhD in Applied Arts and Design.
2. I am a black belt in karate
This is true. I was doing karate shotokan for about six years. I did a lot of Kata competitions, and I won many medals. When it was the time to choose between doing it in a professional level (which required a lot of time of practice) or doing more art (which required a lot of time too), I chose arts, instead of martial arts.
3. I create my artwork using Adobe illustrator
This is a lie! I very rarely use Illustrator. When it comes to transferring my originally hand drawn artwork to a computer, I use only Photoshop. It gives me the better results for my type of artwork, rich in textures and layers. I am a huge fan of Photoshop and I even use it for creating the quilt mock-ups.
I suspect this was not much of a secret, because out of 49 entries, 47 were correct! I hope you had fun learning a bit of trivia about Katarina! Here is the randomiser:
The 27th correct guess was…Isobel! Congratulations, Isobel – you’ve won this gorgeous bundle of Recollection as soon as it arrives in the shop!
