Decoupage for Beginners with Gabriela Szulman
Saturday 30 September, 10am – 1:30pm (£50)

Decoupage is a fabulous DIY skill to have! Once you’ve learned the technique, you’ll be able to upcycle furniture, home decor pieces and even your own clothes! In this class you’ll learn all of the tricks involved with applying layers of thin paper to a glass surface, working with both a plate and a small tea light holder to create your own useable works of art. Sew a Box Cushion with Kym Armstrong
Sunday 1 October, 11am – 5pm (£75)

Learn to make a custom-sized box cushion with a zipper in this entry level upholstery class! Working with your own cushion or cushion measurements, you will learn to draft a cushion pattern template, how to construct a professional-looking cushion cover and how to install a zipper. Box cushions can be made to fit a chair, a window seat or bench or can be used as floor cushions or pet beds. The possibilities are endless! You’ll be able to apply the techniques you learn in this class to make a box cushion in any size, giving you the ability to redecorate your home any time you wish! Find out more and sign up here!

Make a Lampshade with Suzie Kemner
Tuesday 26 September, 7pm – 9pm (£45)

In this fun two hour workshop, Suzie Kemner will lead you through the process of turning a fabric of your choice into a beautiful drum lampshade. You’ll learn how to line up the fabric, attach it to specialist lampshade vinyl (glow tested and certified) and then craft it into a 30cm lampshade that can be hung from a ceiling rose or mounted on a standard lamp. Once you’ve learned the technique, you’ll be able to create lampshades of your own in different sizes. This workshop is perfect if you want to create a beautiful, lovingly made lampshade to brighten up your home, and is a wonderful, relaxing way to pass the evening. Freehand Machine Embroidery with Sophia Palmer
Saturday 23 September, 10:30am – 1:15pm or 2:30pm – 5:15pm (£40)

Do you want to learn a completely new and unique way of using your sewing machine? This workshop will give you a new expressive way to decorate and create. Mixing free motion thread sketching with fabric appliqué to create totally individual pieces of art! Introduction to Modern Calligraphy with Suzie Dicker 
Friday 29 September, 10:30am – 1pm (£60)

Modern calligraphy is perfect for all; its relaxed approach enhances your natural hand writing style to create a unique and beautiful lettering form that is totally individual. Led by Suzie Dicker, founder of luxury stationery brand A L’aise, this beginner’s workshop will guide you through making your first stroke to writing beautiful quotes that will be lovely enough to hang on your wall at home! Whether you are a bride-to-be wanting to learn so you can address your wedding invitation envelopes, or you are the creative sort wanting to learn a new skill; this class is the one for you! Cross Stitch for Beginners with Kym Armstrong
Wednesday 27 September, 7pm – 9:30pm or Tuesday 3 October, 10:30am – 1pm (£35)

Cross stitch is portable, relaxing and seriously addictive! This one-evening class will cover the cross stitch basics from tools to techniques while you stitch a modern cross stitch design to take home! You’ll learn how to work with embroidery floss and the various types of cross stitch fabric, how to get started by anchoring your thread and reading a stitch chart, how to follow a pattern including basic stitches, working rows and changing colours and how to finish your work to display it at home. Want help with a dressmaking or quilting project or just want to sew in a social setting and pick up a few tips along the way? Learn to Crochet Granny Squares
Tuesday, 26 September, 10:30am – 12:30pm (£35)

Learn to crochet the classic granny square! In this two hour class, you’ll learn to create a granny square that can be used as a drinks coaster or as the start of a blanket, accessory or anything else you can dream up! We’ll cover basic crochet stitches, how to finish a square and how to connect squares to create larger projects plus how to follow a crochet pattern or chart. Knickers Masterclass with Charlotte Newland
Saturday 7 October, 10am – 5pm (£95)

The only knickers class you’ll ever need! In this fun one-day class you’ll learn how to make two pairs of knickers. First, we’ll make knickers using stretch knit fabric and fold over elastic. Then, we’ll make knickers using a lightweight woven fabric and picot elastic. You may never buy knickers from a shop again! Find out more and sign up here!

This class will introduce aspiring stitchers – or those who need a refresher – how to use a sewing machine! In this comprehensive three hour class, you’ll get sewing machine-savvy and leave with enough knowledge and confidence to start making your own projects at home! This workshop is focussed solely on the skill of sewing and the entire three hours will be spent practising each element below to ensure that the methods stay in your mind after the class. Do you want to learn to knit or need a refresher on the basics? This class is for you! In this class, experienced knitting teacher and knitwear pattern designer Renée Callahan will start from the very beginning and cover everything you need to know to get started knitting: knit stitch, purl stitch, casting on and off. Sew a pair of Ginger Jeans with Charlotte Newland
Sunday 8, Saturday 21, and Sunday 22 October, 10am – 5pm (£295)

Have you ever dreamed of sewing yourself a pair of great-fitting jeans? The idea of sewing jeans can be intimidating for even the most experienced dressmakers, but in this class our talented teacher will guide you through every step, from trouser-fitting to inserting a zip-fly to top-stitching to installing jeans hardware. The Ginger Jeans pattern from Closet Case Files is a classic 5-pocket jeans sewing pattern with a modern and flattering cut designed for stretch denim.
