Vegetable harvest

This has nothing to do with sewing or quilting or knitting but since growing veg in a planter on one’s tiny flat balcony¬†does involve a bit of handiwork (mostly on Ed’s part), I thought I’d share a snap of our crops. We decided to harvest all the remaining carrots, parsnips and beetroot as well as a few ready tomatoes. These are some of our best and biggest results (we also tried snap peas and courgettes with less success). The lovely carrots and parsnips were sweet and delicious in a big Sunday roast Ed and I cooked up yesterday evening. Mmmmm!
