Dressmaking 101 with Charlotte Newland - 11 November
Would you love to make clothes but find patterns impossible to understand? This one-day class will demystify the dressmaking process whilst you make a beautiful skirt in the fabric of your choice. You will learn standard sewing terms and techniques that you can apply to other patterns and gain the confidence to sew your own clothes. This class will cover taking accurate measurements, accurate cutting and and construction methods.
Please note that this pattern fits sizes xs - 3xl and you can find the measurements for those sizes on the size chart. Unfortunately, if your measurements fall outside of the range on the pattern back, this class may not be suitable for you because we won't be able to size the pattern up or down for you in class. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or are interested in arranging a private class instead.
What our students say:
"Charlotte was fab, it felt less like a class and more like 5 friends spending the day sewing. Everything was explained clearly, and demonstrations were given individually so everyone could progress at their own speed." - Phoebe
"Wonderful teacher. Really knowledgable and made it all seem really easy." - Clea
