Qing Fibre Merino Singles

Qing Fibre is a London-based dye studio specialised in special seasonal colours and rare to find yarn bases, founded by Layla (Qing) Yang. Whilst learning to knit Layla discovered a want for more variegated and eye-catching colours that popped and changed with each stitch. Struggling to get exactly the colourways she envisioned, she set about creating them herself, and thus Qing Fibre was born in 2016. Since then she has been on a creative journey, sourcing ethically produced fibres from all over the world to hand-dye in Qing's London based studio.

Qing Fibre Merino Singles are a light fingering single-ply yarn with a gorgeous lustre and beautiful drape. With a soft and smooth texture it is super versatile and suitable for any pattern or stitch, especially for fun and more intricate stitches. Perfect for shawls and light jumpers as well as socks and a myriad of other projects of your choosing! It knits up well on 3mm - but a larger needle will give you a delicate, lacy look. This yarn is ethically sourced from Peru and hand-dyed in London by indie dyer Layla Qing.
