Class Policies

Coronavirus and Classes

Classes are currently running in our shop. Please read the following information so you know what to expect when you come to class.

It is very important that you read and understand our cancellation policy. If a class runs and you are unable to attend for any reason, you will not be offered a refund. Our shop would be unable to run classes if we could accept last minute cancellations because the classes would not be financially viable. If you book a class, you are accepting the risk that you may lose your class fees if you are unable to attend at the last minute.

Please do not come to class if you have tested positive for Covid-19, are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, are feeling unwell or feel you may be a risk to others. Please understand that you may lose your class fees in this scenario. You are accepting this risk if you book a class.

Class size

Classes will be a maximum of six students.

Temp checks

All students and teachers will be subject to a temperature check.

If your temperature reads high, you will be asked to leave and provided with store credit in the amount you paid for your class.

Social distancing

All classes will take place in our studio.

Students will be spaced at least 1.5m apart.

It will not be possible to social distance during some demonstrations.

Masks are required for students, teachers, staff and customers.

If you choose to wear a visor it must be worn WITH a mask.

Except in cases of extremely cold weather, the studio windows and door will be opened. Please dress in warm layers.

The studio, machines and tools will be cleaned with disinfectant before each class.

The bathroom and high touch points will be cleaned at the end of each day and throughout the day as necessary.

Hand hygiene

Hand sanitiser is located at the entrance and around the shop. Customers are encouraged to use it when they enter the shop

Hand sanitiser will be provided at each student’s seat for use before and after using shared equipment, the kettle, etc.

Disinfectant wipes will be provided in the bathroom for shielding your hands from high touch points.

Each student will have their own set of equipment for use in class that will be cleaned before use.

We are not currently providing refreshments for classes. Please feel free to bring your own beverages and food for snack or lunch during longer classes.

Please refer to our existing class cancellation policy.

Cancellation policy

We do not issue refunds on class bookings.

If you register for a class and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer you store credit if you notify us at least 15 days before the class. For example, if your class is on 20 June, you must contact us by 5 June in order to receive store credit. After the cut off date for your class, we are unable to offer credits of any kind or honour reschedule requests.

Our classes require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, booking staff, and making commitments to pay our instructors. When students ask to cancel or reschedule, we lose money. As a small business, it is extremely difficult for us to absorb these costs and keep our class fees low.

In fairness to all of our customers we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness, travel, or family emergency. If you are unable to attend a workshop, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!

We require full enrolment to go forward with a class. If we must cancel a class for any reason you will be offered a full refund or we will offer you a place in the class the next time it is scheduled. If this happens, we'll try to work with you to choose new class dates that fit your schedule.

If you are transferred to a new class, either by your request or because we had to cancel your original booking, these policies apply to the new booking. This means that if we have to cancel a class that you are booked onto and you choose to move to a new date rather than taking a refund, you can not request a refund at a later date.

Late policy

If you arrive more than 20 minutes late you will not be able to take part in the class and you will not be able to move to another class or receive a refund. Classes start promptly. We cannot hold the class back if you are running late and we may not be able to go over what you have missed if you arrive late. There is a lot to get through in our classes and it isn’t fair on other paying students if we have to stop and go back to explain things to late students.

Class payment plans

We are excited to start offering payment plans for our classes priced more than £60. If you are interested in a payment plan, please contact us and we'll be happy to set one up for you. Here is how it will work: We'll divide the class fees into two or three payments based on how far in advance the class is and invoice you monthly. All class fees must be paid by the 15th day before a class starts to confirm your place.
In keeping with our class policies, there are no refunds for class fees paid. If you are unable to take the class and you contact  us about it before the 15th day before the class starts, we can offer you store credit or apply the fees paid to another class.

How to register for classes

You can sign up for classes on our website, in person at our shop or by calling us at 0207 624 5494. Unless you are arranging a payment plan, we require full payment at the time of booking in order to reserve your spot.

Class materials

The materials and tools needed for each class varies, so please refer to the course description. Once you register, you’ll receive a list of the supplies you’ll need to bring. You will receive a 10% discount on your class day if you wish to purchase supplies in the shop, however it’s best to plan ahead and arrive early in case it is busy. If you'd like to buy your supplies prior to class day, just let us know and we'll provide you with a discount code. If you have any questions about what you’ll need to bring, please contact us.
