In addition to our busy class schedule, we love to host special events at our West Hampstead shop! Here is what we have coming up over the next few months:Selkie Patterns Pop Up
Saturday, 8 December, 2pm - 5pm
We are so excited to host newly minted Selkie Patterns' first pop up! Fresh off an overfunded Kickstarter, Selkie co-founders Caroline Akselson and Alexandra Bruce will have their gorgeous new sewing patterns and exclusive fabrics to share for the first time IRL. All of their highly anticipated new products are designed and produced in the UK with the environment in mind. Yay! You'll be able to chat with Alex and Caroline, see samples of the new patterns and get your hands on the goods whilst you sip bubbly in our lovely shop. No need to sign up for this event, just drop in and have some fun! Click here to see more pictures from the Selkie Patterns lookbook!
Saturday, 15 December, 10am - 6pm
All day in the shop we'll be hosting a gift wrapping party! We'll provide everything you need to wrap gifts creatively or create fun wrap. Bring in gifts to wrap, buy gifts to wrap ,or just make gift wrap, cards and/or gift tags to take home. We'll also have festive treats and mulled wine on hand. No need to book and the event is free but 100% of any donations you'd like to make will go to The Winch to benefit local programmes. All ages welcome!

We are so excited to be the venue for the December #londonstitchersmeetup! This will be an UFO and mend party / meet up which means you can bring any unfinished project or something that needs mending and you will be able to use any of the sewing machines available. You can also bring a knitting or a crochet, embroidery project or just come for a tea and a chat. You'll also get 10% off any purchase during the event! We are thrilled that Santa will be coming to our shop again this year! This is a fun, free tradition for kids of all ages and their parents and it's timed with the last day of school for many local kids. Each child will have time to chat with Santa and tell him their Christmas wishes. You are welcome to take your own pictures and children will receive a small gift from Santa. We'll be serving mulled wine, hot chocolate and Christmas treats all day and we'll have a free craft table for kids to play before and after their Santa visit. Remember, bookings are essential!
