Dressmaking 101 with Charlotte Newland - Jaimie Pyjama Bottoms

£80.00

A MASK OR FACE COVERING IS REQUIRED IN THE SHOP INCLUDING DURING OUR CLASSES.

Would you love to make clothes but find patterns impossible to understand? This one-day class will demystify the dressmaking process whilst you make a pair of cute and comfy cotton drawstring pyjama bottoms or shorts using the Jaimie pattern from Tilly & the Buttons! You will learn standard sewing terms and techniques that you can apply to other patterns and gain the confidence to sew your own clothes. This class will cover taking accurate measurements, accurate cutting and and construction methods.

Please note that this pattern fits UK sizes 4 - 34 and you can find the measurements for those sizes on the size charts pictured. If your size is 26 - 34 or you're not sure, please let us know when you book. You will be provided with a copy shop print out of the PDF pattern for class use but we'll need at least a week to order it.

What our students say:

"Charlotte was fab, it felt less like a class and more like 5 friends spending the day sewing. Everything was explained clearly, and demonstrations were given individually so everyone could progress at their own speed." - Phoebe

"Wonderful teacher. Really knowledgable and made it all seem really easy." - Clea
