Imagined Landscapes by Jen Hewett - Aerial View in Stone
Imagined Landscapes is Jen Hewett's first-ever fabric collection! In this collection she drew inspiration from her daily walks in and around Golden Gate Park, simplifying the surrounding flora and landscapes into quirky, geometric shapes. A printmaker by training, Jen began her design process for this collection by hand printing with the collection of blocks she’s carved over the years, playing with layout and colour as she worked.
Jen Hewett is a printmaker, surface designer, textile artist and teacher living in San Francisco with her dog Gus. A lifelong Californian, Jen combines her love of bold prints and saturated colours with the textures and light of California landscapes to create highly tactile, visually layered, printed textiles. She's the author of the book Print, Pattern, Sew: Block Printing Basics + Simple Sewing Projects for an Inspired Wardrobe.
