Learn to Sew Using a Twin Needle with Amanda Brown

Twin needles can give your jersey garments a beautiful and professional finish but they can be tricky to use when you don't know how! In this fun three-hour class Amanda will show you tricks of the trade that she has learnt over her 35 years of sewing clothing alterations to avoid frustrating problems such as uneven hems or wavy necklines when using a twin needle in your home sewing machine. 

In this workshop you'll receive:
  • Twin Needle which can be kept after class
  • Folder with Printout Sheets
  • Fabric Samples for your Folder

About your teacher: Amanda Brown, aka Cotton onto Sewing, is a professional seamstress with more than 30 years experience who runs sewing, dressmaking and alterations workshops across the UK.

Skills needed: This class is designed for students who know how to use a sewing machine and have made a few garments. 

Materials: Sewing machines & feet will be provided. Please bring two polyester threads (such as Gutermann Sew-All) in different bright colours.

If you would prefer to bring your own machine, please let us know in the comments when you check out. If you bring your own machine you must make sure to bring a bobbin pre-filled with a bright coloured thread.
