Paper Theory Patterns - Zadie Jumpsuit
The Zadie Jumpsuit is a relaxed and easy to wear one piece that comes with the option of wide 3/4 length sleeves, or sleeveless with a dropped shoulder. It wraps around the body and fastens with a tie so there is no need for buttons or a zip - making it quick and to easy sew, and quick and easy to get on and off.
The legs are cut wide and skim above the ankle. There are deep slant pockets on the front, with small pleats at the waist on the front and back. The neck edge is finished with a bias binding.
Techniques Involved
You will learn to make your own bias binding and apply it to the neckline. You will also learn how to create a slant trouser pocket. The rest of the techniques are standard straight stitching and hemming.
Fabric Requirements
Paper Theory’s sewing patterns are printed onto premium 270g card which makes them luxurious and substantial to hold, but more importantly they will have longevity and not disintegrate with the wear and tear of use. The pattern is printed onto 60gsm paper and each style comes with a full step by step, instruction booklet printed onto 120g paper.
This pattern was made and printed in England on FSC certified card and paper by a printer who is registered with the Woodland Trust.
