Pineapple Quilt with Judith Dahmen - 8 September
Designed for intermediate and advanced quilters, this class will teach you how to make a foundation paper pieced pineapple quilt block. You'll learn how to follow complex foundation paper piecing patterns and create sharply pieced blocks while you make a good start on a pineapple quilt to finish at home!
About your teacher: Judith Dahmen was born into a family where handicraft was important and learned how to knit and sew clothes from her mother when she was a young teenager. Over the past years she has turned all of her free energy and time to quilting and can't understand why she hasn't done it all her life! She loves the design opportunities quilting gives her and that she is constantly able to learn new techniques to improve her work. Not to mention quilts are wonderful to snuggle under on the sofa, look fantastic on a bed and are the best presents. Judith blogs at www.needlesandlemons.com.
Skills needed: Must know how to use a sewing machine and have completed a few patchwork quilts prior to class.
