Textile Screen Printing with Kre8ive Shack
Learn how to screen print and design your own textiles and garments! This is a great introduction to learn a professional technique to transfer images. We'll teach you all the basics to get you printing your own original designs onto a tote bag or t-shirt or you can choose from a selection of Shikira's own designs to print. You'll learn step by step the process of creating a design, cutting your stencil right through to preparing your screen for printing. Find out how to avoid common mistakes to get the perfect print. You'll leave with a complete printed tote or t-shirt and the confidence to create and print on your own again and again at home.
About your teacher: Shikira is a print and surface designer and educator. She has many years of experience teaching art, textiles, and sewing with all abilities from Primary age up to adult education. She loves passing on her knowledge and skills of print, stitch and crafts so everyone can experience the joy of designing and making even if you feel you're not that creative!
